For those emailing/wondering, yes, the house had a flood due a failed drainage pump… The shot below is the pump switch, with the narrow diameter pipe in the base of the box leading to three feet of water, through which I had to rethread a new power cable, attach to new pump, etc. It was icy, cold business. Luckily our basement is graded properly.
