We had the name Sage before she was born. Unfortunately, that’s all we had… we tossed around lots of ideas for the middle and last names.

I was not actually biting her ear off. Rather we are now employing the so-good-it-must-be-black-magic “Happiest Baby on the Block” method of calming Sage. Cry-to-Calm in 10 seconds. Amazing.
So I’m white. Or caucasian. Or pale. Take your pick. In any case, the various Chinese protocols for postpartum mother/infant management are new to me. Let me herein illustrate some of my adventures into this terra incognita.
